She comes from a family of many dancers. When Tish got older, she started visiting various Chicago Clubs where the locals would Chicago-Style Step where she became interested in a new style of partner dancing in 2005. At this time, her hometown also was implementing the dance. Then in 2007, she took her first private lesson with Dru and Maria of Stylistic Steppers and then went home to Detroit to take private lessons from Larry Collins who developed instructor DVDs and held classes in Detroit. During this time, she relocated to Central Florida and began working with the Central Florida Steppers and within a short time became one of the top steppers in Florida.
She continually enhances her dance thru training with top dancers in Chicago and Detroit such as Tykman, Charnice Simmons, Kevin Dockery, Donnie Davis, Darryl Davis, Jock Sanders, Drew Alexander, and many others. She has also assisted other groups in Florida to established their organizations such as Orange County, Stylistic Steppers, Florida Steppers International, Bay City Steppers out of Tampa, and now the head instructor of Heart of Florida Steppers out of Winter Haven, Florida. She frequently travels to support many organizations all over the world. Also, had an opportunity to dance in the video for Ann Nesby in Orlando in 2008.
